OVERVIEW: This is a summer hockey school for all ages. Players will have close to 2 hours a day on the ice to develop their fundamentals and conditioning. This program includes daily scrimmaging.

DAILY SCHEDULE:
60 minutes of teaching fundamentals and proper individual techniques
40 minutes of advanced skill development and execution of the fundamentals at top speed
20 minutes of positional play, team tactics and controlled scrimmaging
Midget/Junior Schedule:
The Focus of this Class will be 5 on 5 Non Stop Scrimmaging (strictly NO Body Checking)
15 minutes Warm Up, Goalie Warm Up and skills development
60 minutes non-stop scrimmaging (variety of 5X5 and 4X4)
15 minutes skating and conditioning
GROUP SIZE:
Maximum 24 skaters and 3 goalies.
INSTRUCTION:
All sessions designed and instructed by Carey Wilson
Minimum 4 Professional Instructors on the ice at all sessions
Each group will receive age-appropriate body checking instruction.
COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM:
All players will learn and develop a good work ethic, a good attitude, and sound fundamentals.
The program covers power skating, puck control, stick handling, passing, shooting, and body checking
As well, instruction will be offered in team positional play and team tactics
Players must be prepared to undertake a rigorous and demanding daily schedule.
Body Checking:
Heavy Focus on Body Checking Introduction at the Peewee Level.
Body Checking will be allowed, administered and instructed through Development Drills during each practise.
All 5 on 5 Scrimmaging will be strictly No Body Checking.
