Special Introduction to Body Checking for Minor Pee Wee (Born '01)
Ages 9 to 14
Location: Century Arena
Monday to Friday, August 27-31
COST: $160.00 (GST INCLUDED)
Goalies Cost: $50.00
OVERVIEW: This program is a combination conditioning camp and hockey school. While focus will be given to development and teaching the proper fundamentals, it will be done in a high tempo and intense format to also have players prepared and conditioned for their upcoming tryouts. Special attention to teaching Body Checking will be given to the Minor Pee Wee age group.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
40 minutes of teaching fundamentals and proper individual techniques
20 minutes of advanced skill development and execution of the fundamentals at top speed
20 minutes of positional play, team tactics and controlled scrimmaging
INSTRUCTION:
All sessions are designed and instructed by 10 Year NHL Pro Carey Wilson
There will be a minimum of 4 Professional Instructors per ice session. Maximum group size is 24 skaters
The 11s (Minor Peewee) group will focus on Body Checking Instruction.
Body Checking:
Heavy Focus on Body Checking Introduction at the Peewee Level.
Body Checking will be allowed, administered and instructed through Development Drills during each practise.
All 5 on 5 Scrimmaging will be strictly No Body Checking.
